Meet Valerie

Valerie is the voice of Verova Health — the friend who’s been through it. She spent twelve years yo-yo dieting before a GLP-1 program finally worked, and she tells her story here so you don’t have to go searching the way she did.

My story

I want to tell you the whole thing, because if you’re here, some of it is probably going to sound familiar.

I did everything right. I tracked calories. I tried keto, Whole30, Noom, two different personal trainers, and a medically supervised program that cost me $4,000. I’m not lazy — I’ve never been lazy. I’d lose the weight, feel proud for a few months, and then watch every pound come home. Every single time.

And every single time, I took it as proof that something was wrong with me. I’d stand on the scale and feel that specific, private shame — the one that whispers other people can do this, so what’s wrong with you?

I’d quietly decided I was the problem. That I just didn’t have whatever discipline gene everyone else got. I carried that for twelve years.

Then a doctor explained something that reframed my whole life. Nearly 70% of weight management is determined by your metabolic biology. My body wasn’t broken — it was working exactly as designed. I just needed the right tool to work with it instead of against it.

GLP-1 medication was that tool for me. Thirty-four pounds in six months. But honestly, the number isn’t the part that still gets me. For the first time in twelve years, I didn’t feel like I was fighting myself — and someone with real credentials had finally treated my situation like a medical thing to solve, not a character flaw to scold me for.

Why Verova exists

After all that, I couldn’t stop talking about it. Friends, coworkers, the woman next to me at my daughter’s soccer game — anyone who mentioned struggling, I’d corner them and tell my story. And they almost always asked me the same question: “But how do I find someone I can actually trust?”

Because the GLP-1 world is loud and crowded and full of operators who will sell you medication with no clinician in sight. When something works this well, the scammers come running.

That question is exactly why Verova exists. Verova isn’t a clinic and isn’t a pharmacy — it doesn’t sell medication or charge you a thing. It connects qualified people with real, licensed providers in their state, and that’s all it does. No upsells, no maze, no anonymous order forms. Just one careful introduction to someone who’s genuinely qualified to help. It’s the thing I wish had existed when I was searching.

The provider network

We’re the connector, not the clinician. Here’s exactly what that means and where the line sits.

  1. 01

    We listen

You share your health history and goals through a private, HIPAA-compliant intake. Nothing happens without your say-so.

  2. 02

    We match

We connect you with a state-licensed provider who fits your situation and is licensed where you live. Real credentials, every time.

  3. 03

    They decide

From there, your provider runs the show. Every medical decision — including whether GLP-1 is right for you at all — is theirs and yours, never ours.

Trust & privacy

HIPAA-compliant, start to finish

Your health information is handled under HIPAA from the very first question. We treat it like the private medical matter it is — because it is one.

Licensed providers only

Every provider in our network is a real, state-licensed clinician — a physician, nurse practitioner, or PA. No exceptions, no “wellness coaches,” no anonymous order forms.

Your data is never the product

We exist to make a single, careful introduction — not to harvest and resell your information. Your privacy is the floor we built on, not a feature we bolted on.

Valerie's invitation

If any of this sounded familiar, the next step is small and free: a few honest questions, reviewed by a real licensed provider. No pressure, no obligation.

No cost to see if you qualify. No pressure. No obligation.
